Delegates from Guangxi Normal University, People's Republic of China, Visited PSU Phuket

On June 26th, 2024, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thakerng Wongsirichot, Vice President for Academic and International Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pun Thongchumnum, Vice President for PSU Phuket Campus; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prathana Kannaovakun, Dean of the Faculty of International Studies (FIS); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornpisanu Promsivapallop, Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism (FHT); administrative teams from FHT; Dr. Tagsina Sripracha, Assistant President for International Affairs, Phuket Campus, and representatives from the International Affairs Office (IAC), warmly welcomed delegates from Guangxi Normal University (GXNU), led by Prof. Li Dongmei, Director of International Cooperation and Exchanges and Dean of the College of International Culture and Education. The meeting took place on the 4th floor, Astra meeting room of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism (Bldg. 2).

The purpose of the visit was to discuss the potential opportunities for collaboration between both universities in areas such as double degrees, joint programs, and student exchanges. The program concluded with a gift exchange and a commemorative photo session. Additionally, the delegates had a short campus tour to visit the faculties, including classrooms, laboratories, facilities, and the Confucius Institute at Phuket (CIP).
