Delegates from Shanghai University (SHU), the People's Republic of China, Visited PSU Phuket

On December 1st, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pun Tongchumnum, Vice President for PSU Phuket Campus; Dr. Tagsina Sripracha, Assistant President for International Affairs, PSU Phuket; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prathana Kannaovakun, Dean of Faculty of International Studies; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornpisanu Promsivapallop, Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Werapong Kordsin, Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Environment; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aziz Nanthaamornphong, Dean of the College of Computing and other representatives from the Confucius Institute at Phuket (CIP), the faculties and the International Affairs Office (IAC) warmly welcomed delegates from Shanghai University, the People's Republic of China, led by Mr. Ouyang Hua, Vice-President Global Affairs of SHU. This meeting took place on the 3rd floor of the President’s Office Building (Bldg. 7).

During the meeting, IAC provided a brief video overview of PSU Phuket, and each faculty representative presented the available international programs offered. The purposes of the delegates were to discuss potential future collaborations and visit the Confucius Institute at Phuket (CIP). A gift exchange and commemorative photo opportunity marked the program's conclusion, after which there was a faculty and campus tour.
