Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony between Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Phuket Campus and Dongtai City Futeng School at PSU Phuket

On November 30th, 2023, PSU Phuket hosted an MoU Signing Ceremony with Dongtai City Futeng School, P.R. China, at Meeting Room 2, 3rd Floor, Building 7. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pun Thongchumnum, Vice President of PSU Phuket, and Mr. Wang Xiaoqiu, Chairman of Dongtai City Futeng School, gave opening remarks at the occasion. Attending the ceremony were representatives from both institutions, including Mr. Xie Zhanlin, Chief of the Personnel Department of Dongtai City Futeng School; Mr. Wu Hua, Head of G12 at Dongtai City Futeng School; Mr. Zhang Lei; Dr. Tagsina Sripracha, Assistant President for International Affairs, Phuket Campus; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aziz Nanthaamornphong, Dean of College of Computing (CoC); Asst. Prof. Dr. Nattapong Tongtep, Associate Dean for Special Affairs and International Relations, CoC. After the signing ceremony, the delegates talked about the implementation details of their cooperation.

With the goal of enhancing the internationalization of the Phuket campus, this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to promote various forms of academic cooperation between the two institutions, including summer and winter camps, preparatory activities for international students, and the 1+3 curriculum program, which is a collaboration between the College of Computing (CoC) and Shanghai University of Engineering Science (SUES). The CoC-SUES-Futeng Model is to be applied by the other faculties after this.
