H.E. Mr. Darm Boontham, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, the Royal Thai Embassy in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Delegates from the Al Hokair Group, Visited PSU Phuket

On February 12th, 2024, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thakerng Wongsirichot, Vice President for Academic and International Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pun Thongchumnum, Vice President for PSU Phuket Campus; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornpisanu Promsivapallop, Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism (FHT); Administrative teams from FHT; Dr. Tagsina Sripracha, Assistant President for International Affairs, Phuket Campus and representatives from the International Affairs Office (IAC), warmly welcomed H.E. Mr. Darm Boontham, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Royal Thai Embassy, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and delegates from Al Hokair Group led by Mr. Majed AlHokair, Chairman. The meeting took place on the second floor of Fuangfa Meeting Room (Building 2).

The purpose of the visit is to discuss collaboration between the university and Al Hokair Group, such as developing joint programs, producing graduates to meet the demands of the service sector in Saudi Arabia, student exchange programs, and sending students for internships. Additionally, the visiting delegation also toured the facilities including classrooms, laboratories, and learning support resources at the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism. The program ended with a gift exchange and a commemorative photo session.
