On March 8-9, 2025, the International Affairs Centre (IAC) organized its first-ever IAC Intercultural Awareness Camp 2025 at Bor Saen Pool Villa, Phang-Nga. The event brought together 40 Thai and international students from various nationalities, along with IAC staff and facilitators. This program aimed to promote intercultural awareness by exploring how cultural differences shape attitudes, beliefs, values, and lifestyles. It also encouraged teamwork, communication, and creative problem-solving while helping students build new connections.

Although this was the first time IAC hosted such a camp, participants showed great cooperation and enthusiasm throughout the four activity sessions: Character Cards, Intercultural Knowledge Quiz, Intercultural Awareness in Business Communication and Problem No Problem. The evening wrapped up with fun and lively campfire performances, exchanging souvenirs by heartfelt messages to one another, and receiving camp certificates as a reminder of their shared experience.

After recharging overnight, everyone enjoyed a relaxing day exploring the stunning scenery of Bor Saen and took part in activities such as biking, water biking, mini golf and swimming. It was a great way to wind down and reflect on the experiences before returning to PSU Phuket with new friendships and meaningful memories

The IAC team sincerely appreciates everyone’s enthusiastic participation and hopes this camp will serve as a stepping stone for more intercultural activities in the future.
