IAC University Social Responsibility (USR) Activities During the Vegetarian Festival

On October 5 and 9, 2024, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pun Thongchumnum, Vice President for Phuket Campus, and Dr. Tagsina Sripracha, Assistant President for International Affairs, Phuket Campus, along with faculty representatives, Confucius Institute at Phuket (CIP), IAC members, and Thai and international staff and students, participated in the “USR Activities during the Vegetarian Festival” by handing out donations in the form of food, drinking water, rice, and other vegetarian cooking ingredients to Kathu Shrine. We were warmly welcomed by the Kathu Shrine Committee, which included Dr. Supachai Jeangjai, a FIS lecturer in Chinese Studies, who volunteered to narrate the festival's celebration for the visitors at the shrine.

Another part of this activity took place on October 10, 2024. IAC, along with faculty representatives, PSU COOP, dormitory team and Thai and international staff and students, participated in the festival parade and distributed donations to the public during the street procession.
