Orientation for New Full-Time International Students 1st Semester Academic Year 2024

On August 2nd, 2024, the International Affairs Centre (IAC) hosted the “Annual Orientation” to warmly welcome new full-time international students for the first semester of the academic year 2024 at the Hub, International Student Services Center Building (Bldg. 10).

The program began with welcome remarks given by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pun Thongchumnum, Vice President for PSU Phuket Campus, and Dr. Tagsina Sripracha, Assistant President for International Affairs, Phuket Campus, followed by a video presentation about a day on campus.

During the orientation, IAC staff, along with a representative from Student Development and Alumni Relations, provided an informative presentation covering various topics, including general information about the university, safety and cultural tips, rules and regulations, health and accident insurance, immigration-related matters, student activity hours, student clubs, facilities, and upcoming activities.

At the end of the presentation, a Q&A session was held, featuring prize giveaways.

In the afternoon, students participated in photo-taking, purchasing uniforms and accessories, and shopping at the department store. The orientation program concluded with a short campus tour.
