PSU Phuket Executives Visited the Universities in China

From December 2 to 7, 2024, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, led by Assoc. Prof. Pun Thongchumnum, Ph.D., Vice President for Phuket Campus, along with Assoc. Prof. Prathana Kannaovakun, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of International Studies (FIS); Assoc. Prof. Pornpisanu Promsivapallop, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism (FHT); Assoc. Prof. Werapong Koedsin, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Environment (FTE); Assoc. Prof. Aziz Nanthaamornphong, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Computing (CoC); and a representative from the International Affairs Centre (IAC), visited Chengdu, Sichuan, China.
The program included visits to the Consulate-General of the Kingdom of Thailand in Chengdu, Sichuan Normal University, Sichuan Tourism University, Sichuan University Jinjiang College, Gingko College of Hospitality Management, Chengdu Mianshi Foreign Language School and China Office.
The purposes of the visit were to strengthen relationships between universities in China and PSU Phuket and to explore opportunities for future educational collaborations. Additionally, the visit involved signing MoUs, discussions on promoting academic programs, developing joint curricula, facilitating staff and student exchanges, and organizing related activities. It also aimed to enhance mutual understanding and goodwill between the participating institutions.
