PSU Phuket Hosted Delegation from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn, Malaysia, Exploring Collaboration Opportunities

On September 5, 2025, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus(PSU Phuket), warmly welcomed Dr. Syed Zahurul Islam, Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM).

The visit began with a meeting with Asst. Prof. Dr. Norrathep Rattanavipanon, Lecturer from the College of Computing (CoC), PSU Phuket. Dr. Norrathep delivered an insightful presentation on the CoC’s research units and academic initiatives, followed by an introduction to UTHM’s Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and its ongoing projects.

Discussions focused on opportunities for academic collaboration, particularly the establishment of short-term and long-term student mobility programs. Both parties expressed strong interest in creating projects that would enable students from both institutions to gain valuable cultural exchange and international learning experiences.

The meeting created a strong partnership between the two academic units, with both sides ready to move forward in advancing education and research for the benefit of their students.
