On November 3, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, hosted the “Word About the Russian Heart” Festival, an international cultural and educational project.
The festival was organized by Rossotrudnichestvo—the Russian Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation—in partnership with the “New City” Creative Industries Center. The initiative aimed to promote Russian culture, arts, and contemporary achievements, while enhancing cultural exchange between Russia and Thailand.
Held in the Theater Room, Building 5, the event also featured a photography exhibition showcasing works by Russian photographers.
The program included four expert-led sessions delivered by distinguished speakers from Russia, covering key topics such as Human Capital, Education and Employment; Creative Industries as a Driver of Regional Development; Russian Heart: Women’s Power in Business and Culture; and presentations from various Russian higher education institutions in a short workshop format. A master class was also conducted by a representative of the Penza Region.
By providing the venue, PSU Phuket supported a meaningful gathering of the Russian community in Phuket, PSU students, and representatives from local businesses. The event fostered dialogue and cultural appreciation, underscoring the university’s commitment to global engagement and community enrichment.
