PSU Phuket Unitar Leadership Nexus

On September 2nd, 2024, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Phuket Campus, led by Dr. Tagsina Sripracha, Assistant President for International Affairs, along with representatives from the International Affairs Centre (IAC), hosted the opening ceremony as part of the “PSU Phuket - Unitar Leadership Nexus” to welcome 15 participants, including 13 students and 2 lecturers from Unitar International University, Malaysia, who will be staying at PSU Phuket from September 1st to 14th, engaging in a mix of academic and cultural activities throughout their stay.

The orientation was held at The Hub, International Student Services Building (Bldg. 10), marking a lively start to the students' experience at PSU Phuket. 

The program aims to foster knowledge exchange, provide hands-on experience in organizing activities, and strengthen bonds through teamwork and shared responsibilities. It also focuses on developing communication, social skills and self-awareness through interactive sessions, during which two lecturers from Unitar conducted insightful teaching on Positive Psychology and Psychological First Aid for students from both PSU Phuket and Unitar University. These sessions provided students with strategies to enhance their well-being and equipped them with skills to support others. Participants also had opportunities to observe and participate in a few classes, and explore learning methods, ensuring a memorable and enriching experience.
