PSU Phuket Welcomed Delegates from Austrade Bangkok, Australian Embassy

     On June 5, 2025, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus (PSU Phuket), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pun Thongchumnum, Vice President for Phuket Campus, along with the representatives from the Andaman International Health and Wellness Center, the Medical Technology Service Center and the MP Group (Thailand) Co.,LTD., extended a warm welcome to Ms. Esther Sun, Trade and Investment Commissioner, and Ms. Busarin Sinthunavarat, Senior Business Development Manager from Austrade Bangkok, Australian Embassy. The meeting was held at Meeting Room 2, 3rd Floor, PSU Phuket Campus’s Office Building.

    

The purpose of the visit was to gain insight into the strategic direction of Songklanagarind Hospital, Phuket Campus, and to explore potential collaborations with Australian companies and networks in the healthcare and medical sectors. Discussions highlighted opportunities for knowledge exchange, technology transfer, and innovation that could contribute to the enhancement of healthcare services at the international level.

     

The delegation also held discussions with the PSU Phuket Medical Technical Services Center regarding future plans focused on enhancing medical technology capabilities and preparing for expanded international partnerships.

     

PSU Phuket hopes that this visit will represent a significant step in strengthening the university’s role as a regional hub for healthcare and medical services in ASEAN.
