PSU Phuket Welcomed Delegates from Indonesia’s MKKS-Pekanbaru

On May 15, 2025, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus (PSU Phuket), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pun Thongchumnum, Vice President for PSU Phuket Campus, along with representatives from the College of Computing, Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, Faculty of International Studies, Faculty of Technology and Environment, and the International Affairs Centre, warmly welcomed a delegation from Musyawarah Kerja Kepala Sekolah SMA Swasta Kota Pekanbaru (MKKS-PEKANBARU), Republic of Indonesia.
The meeting, held at the Ketho Meeting Room on the 5th floor of the PSU Phuket Office Building, provided an opportunity for meaningful academic exchange. Representatives from each faculty introduced their academic programs and highlighted opportunities available to Indonesian students interested in studying at PSU Phuket.
In addition, the delegation engaged in discussions with the representatives on student well-being at PSU Phuket, focusing on key areas such as campus safety - including natural disaster preparedness, security protocols, and student transportation - healthcare services for international students, and the university’s policies on drug use.
The visit concluded on a positive note, with both sides expressing strong interest in building future collaboration and deepening educational ties.
