PSU Phuket Welcomed Delegation from Fukuyama Heisei University, Japan to Explore Partnership Opportunities

    On July 1st, 2025, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus (PSU Phuket), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornpisanu Promsivapallop, Dean, Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism and Dr. Tagsina Sripracha, Assistant President for International Affairs, Phuket Campus; along with staff representatives from the International Affairs Centre (IAC) and the faculties had the distinct pleasure of welcoming a delegation from Fukuyama Heisei University, Japan. The esteemed visitors included Prof. Dr. Akio Fuji, President, and Prof. Dr. Kiyomi Watanabe, Professor from the Business Administration Department. The productive meeting took place at the Fuengfah Meeting Room within PSU Phuket's Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism.


     The primary objective of the visit was to explore and establish potential avenues for collaboration between the two institutions. Discussions focused on key areas such as student exchange programs in Business Management, Tourism Management, as well as broader opportunities for future academic cooperation.


     Both universities exchanged overviews of their institutional strengths and areas of interest. The visit also included a faculty tour where delegates were introduced to the key student-centered facilities , such as the airplane simulator lab, kitchen lab, and the on-campus hotel. The program concluded with a brief visit to the Traditional Thai Medical Service Center at Building 10.


     This occasion marks a positive step towards fostering a stronger international partnership and creating valuable opportunities for students and faculty from both universities.
