PSU Phuket Welcomed Delegation from Singapore Management University to Explore Academic Collaboration

On September 18, 2025, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus (PSU Phuket) warmly welcomed representatives from Singapore Management University (SMU) and SMU Overseas Pte Ltd, Representative Office, Bangkok, Thailand. The delegation was officially greeted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pun Thongchumnum, Vice President of PSU Phuket Campus. The meeting took place in the Meeting Room 2 on the 3rd floor of the President’s Office Building.

The visit began with a PSU Phuket welcome session, followed by an engaging presentation, “About SMU: A Global City in the Campus”, delivered by the SMU delegation. Discussions centered on opportunities for PSU students, including special partnership offers for all SMU Master’s programmes and exclusive summer programmes in Singapore such as the Young Leaders Summer Programme for high school students and the Global Summer Programme for undergraduates.

Both institutions expressed a strong interest in strengthening academic collaboration through student exchanges and knowledge-sharing initiatives. This initial meeting set the stage for a promising partnership aimed at expanding educational opportunities for students from both universities.
