PSU Phuket Welcomed Russian Delegate to Strengthen Collaboration in Health Management and Medical Research

On March 27, 2025 Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Phuket Campus, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pun Thongchumnum, Vice President for PSU Phuket Campus, Dr. Tagsina Sripracha, Assistant President for International Affairs, Phuket Campus and representatives from the International Affairs Centre (IAC) and the Andaman International Health and Wellness Center, extended a warm welcome to Dr. Ignat Bogdan, Head of the Center for Digital Sociology and Socio-Humanistic Technologies in Healthcare, from Research Institute for Healthcare Organization and Medical Management in Moscow, Russia. The meeting took place at the International Services Center Building (Bldg. 10).
The main purpose of this visit was to focus on key areas such as the sociology of medicine, health management research, medical tourism studies, and youth science. This engagement contributed significantly to advancing public health systems and health management in a global context.
As part of the visit, the delegate also explored PSU Phuket’s Traditional Thai Medicine Products, gaining insights into the integration of traditional healing practices with modern healthcare innovations. The visit emphasised PSU Phuket’s commitment to fostering international collaboration and knowledge exchange in the field of health sciences.
