PSU Strengthened Partnership with Chongqing University of Technology, China

On July 3–4, 2026, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pun Thongchumnum, Vice President for Phuket Campus, together with Dr. Krittabhas Khwanyuen, Deputy Dean for Academic and International Affairs, Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism (FHT), and representatives from PSU Phuket Campus, visited Chongqing University of Technology (CQUT) in the People's Republic of China. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Peng Yan, Vice President of CQUT, and the university's executive team.

During the visit, both universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic collaboration. Representatives from the two institutions also discussed future cooperation, particularly the development of a double degree programme in Tourism Management and other areas of mutual interest.

This visit reinforced the long-standing partnership between PSU and CQUT, paving the way for future academic exchanges, joint research, and collaborative educational initiatives.
