Bunkyo Farewell Party 2026

“Every gathering must eventually come to an end.” 

After three memorable months of academic learning, cultural exchange, and discovering Thai culture at Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus (PSU Phuket), it was time to say farewell to the students from Bunkyo University before heading back to Japan. 

On Friday, May 8, 2026, PSU Phuket organized a warm farewell party for the Bunkyo University Short Course Program 2026 at Kan Eang @ Pier by the beautiful seaside atmosphere of Chalong Bay. The evening was filled with smiles, laughter, and heartfelt moments among students, Thai buddies, lecturers, and staff. 

Dr. Tagsina Sripracha, Assistant President for International Affairs, delivered a heartfelt farewell speech to the Bunkyo University students. The Bunkyo University students also presented a video filled with memorable moments from their time at PSU Phuket, while the International Affairs Centre (IAC) presented a video reflecting the friendships and experiences built throughout the program. 

The atmosphere became even more lively with a fun whisper challenge game organized by the Thai buddies, bringing laughter and joyful energy to the farewell evening. Lecturers and students also exchanged warm messages before the event concluded with a certificate presentation ceremony and gift exchange celebrating the friendship and cultural connection between the two institutions. 

Although the program has come to an end, the memories and friendships created at PSU Phuket will surely remain in everyone’s hearts.
