Delegate from the Embassy of New Zealand to Thailand Visited Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus (PSU Phuket)

On February 16th, 2023 H.E. Mr. Jonathan Kings, Ambassador of the Embassy of New Zealand to Thailand and his delegates visited PSU Phuket at Meeting Room 2, 2nd floor of the President’s Office Building, (Bldg.7). The Ambassador was warmly welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pun Thongchumnum, Vice President for PSU Phuket Campus; Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornpisanu Promsivapallop, Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism; Asst. Prof. Dr. Aziz Nanthaamornphong, Dean of College of Computing; Dr. Tagsina Sripracha, Assistant President for International Affairs, Phuket Campus; other faculty representatives and IAC staff.

During the meeting, IAC showed a brief video introduction of PSU Phuket and each faculty representative gave a presentation on the international programs offered. The delegates also gave a thorough presentation of the eight distinguished universities in New Zealand. The purpose of this visit was to discuss potential future higher education collaboration opportunities between the New Zealand Embassy to Thailand and PSU Phuket in areas such as dual degree, study abroad programs and scholarship opportunities. The meeting was concluded with a gift exchange and commemorative photo-taking.
