IAC Freshmen Orientation Semester 2, Academic Year 2025

On January 8, 2026, the International Affairs Centre (IAC) warmly welcomed new full-time international students at the Freshman Orientation program for the second semester of the 2025 academic year, held at the President’s Office Building (Building 7), Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus. 

The program opened with welcoming remarks by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pun Thongchumnum, Vice President of the Phuket Campus, followed by Dr. Tagsina Sripracha, Assistant President for International Affairs. The session also featured a screening of the “A Day on Campus” video, offering students a glimpse into life at PSU Phuket.

Throughout the orientation, IAC staff shared helpful and informative presentations covering topics such as essential student information, university rules and regulations, etiquettes, immigration-related matters, driving and renting in Thailand, student activities, campus facilities, and health services. The morning session concluded with a short campus tour, allowing students to become more familiar with their new learning environment.

In the afternoon, students took part in practical activities including having their photographs taken for student ID cards, purchasing uniforms, and buying official university items.
