On Saturday, January 10, 2026, the International Affairs Centre (IAC), together with the PSU Phuket International Student Club, organized an activity booth in celebration of National Children’s Day 2026.
The booth featured a selection of fun and creative activities that brought families together while encouraging children to learn through hands-on play rather than screens. Children of all ages eagerly queued for bingo games, while international club members helped create a lively and welcoming atmosphere for enthusiastic prize hunters. Nearby, another group of children quietly enjoyed painting plaster dolls and drawing cartoons, proudly crafting one-of-a-kind masterpieces to take home as memorable souvenirs.
The area was also enlivened by performances from schools in Kathu, Phuket, along with activity zones such as trampolines, ball houses, and rock-climbing stations.
The event was hosted by Kathu Municipality through its Education Division, in cooperation with PSU Phuket faculty student unions and departments, including the Faculty of International Studies (FIS), the Faculty of Technology and Environment (FTE), the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism (FHT), the College of Computing (CoC), the Confucius Institute at PSU Phuket (CIP), and the PSU Phuket Student Council.
The event fostered a warm, family-friendly atmosphere and highlighted PSU Phuket’s ongoing commitment to community engagement through its University Social Responsibility initiatives. The Prime Minister’s message for National Children’s Day—“𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥, 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥”—was also shared during the event, adding further meaning to the occasion.
