On April 4, 2026, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus (PSU Phuket), participated in the 11th Thailand Education Fair (Myanmar), held at the Sedona Hotel in Yangon, Republic of the Union of Myanmar. The event was organized by the Association of Myanmar Alumni from Universities in Thailand (AMAUT), with support from the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon.
The fair serves as a platform for Thai universities to promote academic programmes, short-term courses, and academic services to prospective students in Myanmar. It attracted a diverse audience, including high school students, undergraduate and postgraduate students, parents, teachers, and education agents, with participation from 28 universities across Thailand. The event was also honored by the presence of the Chargé d’Affaires of Thailand to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
During the fair, PSU Phuket, led by Dr. Tagsina Sripracha, Assistant President for International Affairs, together with Dr. Krittabhas Khwanyuen, representatives from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, and staff from the International Affairs Centre (IAC), hosted an information booth to share details on international programmes, admission procedures, and scholarship opportunities, while engaging with prospective students and academic partners.
The participation further strengthened PSU Phuket’s institutional visibility and fostered academic collaboration with partners in Myanmar.
