PSU Phuket Strengthened Collaboration with Yangjiang Private Sector (Suntrees Industrial Co., Ltd)

On April 2, 2026, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus (PSU Phuket), led by Asst. Prof. Chainun Chaiyasain, Assistant President for Planning and Quality Assurance, Phuket Campus, welcomed Mr. Lin Liangduan, General Manager of Suntrees Industrial Co., Ltd., along with executives from the Yangjiang private sector, the People’s Republic of China, and representatives from the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization. The meeting was held at Meeting Room 2, 3rd Floor, President’s Office Building. 

The visit aimed to explore potential collaboration with universities and industry partners in Yangjiang. During the meeting, both parties exchanged insights on their academic strengths, institutional capacities, and key areas of development. Discussions focused on internship opportunities for PSU Phuket students at Yangjiang hotels and enterprises, as well as pathways for further postgraduate study and potential employment in Yangjiang.

This collaboration reflects PSU Phuket’s growing role as a regionally connected institution and opens new opportunities for student exchange, cultural learning, and international career development.
