On June 12, 2026, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus (PSU Phuket), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pun Thongchumnum, Vice President for PSU Phuket, warmly welcomed a delegation from Temasek Polytechnic (TP), Singapore, led by Mr. Lim Teng Leng, Director of the Department of International Relations.

The visit focused on exploring opportunities for academic collaboration, particularly in student exchange programmes and industry-linked learning initiatives through Phuket’s extensive professional network. The discussions brought together representatives from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, the Faculty of Technology and Environment, and the College of Computing, reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of the proposed collaboration.

Both institutions discussed ways to strengthen student mobility between Thailand and Singapore through exchange and internship programmes, including potential placements for TP students in the hospitality sector in southern Thailand and international experience opportunities for PSU Phuket students in Singapore.

The delegation also toured the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism’s learning facilities before concluding the visit with a shared commitment to advancing the partnership.
