University of Hyogo Workshop Program 2026

On February 19–20, 2026, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Phuket and Hat Yai Campuses, in collaboration with University of Hyogo (UH), Japan. hosted the lively University of Hyogo Workshop Program 2026. Students and professors from two universities joined two days of academic exchange and cultural activities organized by the International Affairs Centre (IAC), together with the Faculty of Economics (PSU Hat Yai) and the Faculty of International Studies (PSU Phuket).

Students enthusiastically presented and exchanged ideas on topics such as Japanese and Thai music, concert festivals, the influence of Japanese music in Thailand, and the economy of Southern Thailand. The Q&A sessions were interactive and full of energy.

A special highlight was the live performance by PSU Phuket Music Zone members, which brought excitement and smiles to everyone in the room. Music helped create a relaxed atmosphere and brought participants closer together. Students also enjoyed a hands-on Thai Traditional Music Workshop led by the Faculty of International Studies.

The program concluded with warm closing remarks from both UH and PSU professors. Filled with music, laughter, and new friendships, the workshop marked the first official collaboration between PSU and UH and set a positive tone for future partnerships.
